History
Coorabie is a small farming and grazing settlement 160 km west of Ceduna and adjoining the Yalata Aboriginal lands. It lies between the Eyre Highway and Fowlers Bay to the south east. The Coorabie district association includes the roadhouse and camping facility at Nundroo on the Eyre Highway.
The Coorabie and Nundroo farming lands are light and marginal and represent the western-most extremity of tillage agriculture in South Australia.
Tourist services
Petrol and supplies are available at the Nundroo roadhouse. At the small centre of Coorabie the school buildings are now used as a community centre and there is public access to the Internet daily at the Coorabie Hall where an Internet Kiosk runs in conjunction with an art and craft outlet.
